Refund and Return Policy

At Life Below Water we deeply value your support and commitment to our mission. Our webshop helps fund our projects, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our refund and return policy carefully.

1. Returns

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item(s) within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • It must also be in the original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Downloadable digital products (e.g. e-books, donation certificates, etc.)
  • Perishable goods
  • Gift cards
  • Customized or personalized items


2. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

If you haven’t received a refund after this period, please contact your bank or credit card provider. If the issue persists, email us at info@lifebelowwater.org

3. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at charlotte.hesterman@lifebelowwater.org before returning the product.

4. Shipping Returns

To return your product, please mail it to:
Life Below Water, Hazewind 28, 1273 HH Huizen, The Netherlands.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

5. Donations and Charity Contributions

Please note that donations and contribution payments made through our website are non-refundable.
If you made an error with your donation or transaction, please contact us at charlotte.hesterman@lifebelowwater.org within 7 days, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
