Beach Clean Up in Noordwijk on March 29, 2026 a Great Success
Last Saturday, our beach clean up in Noordwijk was a great success. Together with an amazing group of dedicated volunteers, we removed an impressive 132 kg of waste from the beach, collecting a total of 2,674 litter items.
From plastic packaging and bottles to cigarette butts and microplastics, every piece of waste removed helps protect marine life and prevents pollution from entering our oceans. These clean ups are not just about cleaning beaches—they are about raising awareness, inspiring action, and creating lasting change for our planet.
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who joined and contributed. Your energy and commitment truly make a difference.

Join us for a community clean-up in Zaandam and help create a cleaner, healthier neighborhood for everyone.
On May 17, from 13:00 to 15:00, we will come together to remove litter and make a visible impact in our local environment.

In spring, Spierziekten Nederland and Life Below Water host an accessible clean-up event with a closing High Tea for people with a muscular disease and their supervisors.
